Genealogy Newfoundland and Labrador

I have not found any blogs that pertain to genealogy for Newfoundland and Labrador.  I am definitely interested in starting one.    It is time to bring the past into the future so younger generations can access it.  Any comments?

When someone dies

What do you do when someone who you don't get on with at work has a death, a close death.  I don't agree with this person's methods of work or how she does things.  She is everything that I dislike about government.   She is cold, hard, ... has favorites and looks out for them.  But I am still moved today because she has suffered a loss -- a devastating loss.  I notice some of the young ones who seem unaffected but some how being older I can understand the pain that she must be feeling.   (Photo from www.bitstop.ca)

Back Again

So much has changed since 2010.  I've changed.  In 2010 , Andrew was 8, Denis was 12 and Robyn was 13.  Now they are 25, 29 and 31.    And I'm 55, nearly 56.   Dick is 58

The World is changed as well.  The US is imploding and so far Canada has with stood the tide from the south.

I've started yoga and my long battle to lose weight.

It is 8:11 in the morning and I wonder what I'll be doing at 8:11 on October 3, 2021

On October 4, 2004, Mom lost her fight with cancer.   And on October 12, 2014(?) Bill left us as a result of a heart attach.   Now Bobby has had a health scare.  He is 61

It is hard to stay positive.
